ADMISSIONS PROCESS & ELIGIBILITY

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions at Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School commence in January each year and continue based on the availability of seats. The process is simple, transparent, and student-friendly, aimed at ensuring a smooth transition into our academic environment. We strive to make the experience welcoming and efficient for both students and parents. To avoid disappointment, parents are encouraged to apply at the earliest opportunity. Early application increases the likelihood of securing admission and helps in better planning for the academic year. We look forward to welcoming new students into our vibrant learning community.

Step 1: Enquiry & Registration

Fill in the enquiry/registration form with your child’s details.

Step 2: Interaction / Assessment

🧠 For kindergarten and primary classes, an informal interaction with the child and parents is conducted.
📖 For higher classes, a short written assessment may be held to understand the student’s learning level.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

Once the selection process is completed, parents will be notified regarding the admission status.
To confirm admission, parents are required to submit all the necessary documents and complete the formalities within the given time frame.

Step 4: Fee Payment

The admission will be treated as provisional until the fees are fully paid. Once payment is completed, the student’s admission will be officially confirmed, and the necessary receipts will be issued.

Parents are encouraged to retain the fee receipts for future reference. The fee structure varies according to the class and will be informed at the time of admission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

LKG: Age 3 years or above as on 31^st July of the year of admission
UKG: Age 4 years or above as on 31^st July of the year of admission
Grade I and above: Based on previous academic records and age criteria as per norms.

Admissions for 25% reserved seats under RTE are available in entry level class (LKG). Parents are encouraged to apply for these seats in the month of April following Government notifications and norms.
